My interest in visual expression began in childhood and was strengthened by early exposure to a wide range of artistic media. Influential moments—meeting Margaret Burroughs, training at the Art Institute of Chicago, studying at Clark Atlanta University, and countless experiences in between—have shaped my artistic development.
My work continues to evolve as I explore themes of self‑love, emotional trauma, and the lifelong pursuit of self‑knowledge. Using color and the human form, I build layered emotional associations that encourage viewers to engage with both the work and themselves more deeply.
Enjoy!
